*POSITION/TITLE: *SENIOR LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
*LOCATION: *LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

*GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
*Provide Linux Application and Server administration as part of the
Systems Operations Group to Linux Servers located at data centers
located in our network. Duties include provisioning new servers,
imaging, monitoring and other daily routines. Provide escalation support
via phone and e-mail. Lead new deployments from the systems perspective
by coordinating with customers and internal resources.

*DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
*· Daily monitoring and maintenance of over Linux 100 servers.

· Perform back up, file replications and script management for
Linux servers.

· Test and apply new software and maintenance patches, including
patch management services on Linux servers.

· Complete security audits on a routine basis.

· Administer Apache, PHP, Java, Cold Fusion web servers.

· Performance tune Apache, PHP, Java and Cold Fusion on Linux
applications

· Administrative scripting with Perl, Python and Shell.

· Experience with XEN Virtual Servers.

· On-boarding and migrating web sites from other hosting facilities.

· Provide customer support via telephone, e-mail, knowledge base
program and other tools.

· Perform other job-related duties as required.
